Introduction
A hydraulic power plant is usually integrated with many types of
assets and equipments. As a management information system, AMS emphasizes
equipment running and maintenance and mainly cares about the process
of the applying, approving and execution of the work order.
Many sub-systems such as contract management, fiscal management,
and documents of equipments, store management and HR management are
integrated into the data sharing system according to the possible
models of defect eliminating, emergency maintenance, preventive maintenance
and condition monitor maintenance in order to lower the cost and make the
equipments running more effectively. AMS developed by us provides a total
solution for the running and maintenance of hydraulic electric industry,
implements the running and maintenance business circulation on network as well,
so it can save much time and lighten the work load of the people,
it can also store history data such as defects, on-duty records,
job order etc. and manage the detail information of asset management,
backup material and the cost of maintenance in order to help to

AMS Function Modules
This system involves in all the operation processes of power plants so
it can easily provide multiple plant uniform management.
AMS consists of the following function modules:
Equipment management: It includes such modules as equipment account,
system, defect management, defect statistical query, etc. Its primary function
is to build equipment accounts, manage relative equipment drawing/documents,
and record equipment history information and relative expense.
It can set up the subordinate relation between equipment and its sub-equipment,
between the installed position and equipment. It can also sum up the total
equipment maintenance cost, define the run-time equipment monitor point,
analyze sampling data, create the maintenance work order, supervise equipment
defect, handle the exception and build the equipment failure maintenance library.
Running management: It includes initial setting, on-duty record,
running account, electricity quantity information,
schedule work, operation order, ON-CALL record,
evaluation and regulation modules, etc. This module makes
use of timely data about equipment running condition and the
real-time running data which is collected by the SCADA system.
It can manage the on-duty record, running account,
real-time production information in addition to work officer record,
insulating record, inspecting and periodic exchange record and
statistic and electricity quantity.
Maintenance management: Including 1st work order management, 2nd work order management, mechanism order management, fire order management, work instruction management and etc. Using work orders as its carrier, this module aims at equipment management with its maintenance management to realize its commercial application.
Material management: Including synthetic inquiry, initialization, requirement and approval, plan management, stock and repertory management, discarding management, report management, Statistic and analysis, department material management and etc. This module can arrange, organize and control the use of material in the working process, and promise the supply of all kinds of material quickly. The resource management can reduce the cost because it uses computer to manage stock and fund. Optimizing the stock, the people could get necessary components in time. This module can be so highly integrated with other modules that a unified management with multi-electric plants and multi-storehouse come into time.
Safety monitor: It includes two-orders check, safety management, accident record, special equipment, safety statistic etc. This module provides a synthetic inquiry for production department, management department and leaders to grasp the safety of production, and available statistic function to make corresponding decisions according to comparisons with all orientations.
Resource management: It includes staff management, work type management, company management etc. this module can manage the information of human resource, calendar, job type, tools, supplier, maker, and manage such essentials as arrangement of staff, organization, attribute, salary, duty, examination, promotion.
Work management: It includes notice of safety, system information, individual jobs, individuality setting. This realizes individuality management.
System management: It includes modules of collocation of client, collocation of database, definition of workflow, work delegate, user feedback. Convenient right setting can control staffs of power plant to use modules of AMS. According to different departments, ranks, duties etc. of staffs, AMS can grant right to relating modules. Only staff of relating right can save or modify relating data to guarantee system safety, all operations in other modules are recorded. The self-defined function of workflow let user define their owner system workflow according to the changed business.
AMS System Characteristic
AMS has the strict security mechanism. The system uses the special multilevel right-assigning mode: role-right-user. It can prevent from the baleful in-break and the juggling important data, ensure that the system data and the data operating are safety.
The system has the high flexibility. The system has the flexible function of customizing the business process and the report forms. The developing platform of AMS adopts Microsoft C# .NET, and DBMS is implemented by Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
